· Quéribus: Perched on a rocky peak, this Cathar castle is one of the best-preserved in the region.

· Roquefixade: This castle, a true eagle of stone, will transport you back in time.

· Foix: This medieval city, capital of the Ariège department, is the endpoint of your hike.
