Your adventure begins in Le Puy-en-Velay, an iconic town with its famous Notre-Dame du Puy Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Le Puy-en-Velay is the perfect starting point to explore the varied landscapes and authenticity of the regions traversed by the GR 430.

As you leave this historic town, you will be immediately immersed in a rich and preserved natural environment, with dormant volcanoes and lush valleys.
